Acer’s subsidiary Acer Gadget and Startbit have jointly founded Jcard 2., a NFT (non-fungible token) system for listing and transaction of trend, entertainment products/expert services and arts, in accordance to Acer Gadget president Allen Jong.
For Jcard 2., Acer Gadget and Startbit have enlisted manner and entertainment brokerage provider provider Catwalk Manufacturing Dwelling, Taiwan Academy of Fine Arts and Tokyo Chuo MuChunTang Auction.
The platform is intended to improve software of metaverse, which will have to have cross-domain methods, internationalization and globalization, cooperation between government companies, industries and educational corporations, Jong pointed out.
Becoming a startup started in 2017, Startbit specializes in establishing software package courses for enterprises’ blockchain applications. The business released Startbit Ex, the very first decentralized exchange in Asia, in 2018 and has developed STO (stability token presenting) and NFT platforms. Startbit was invested by Taiwan’s Nationwide Growth Foundation in July 2019 and by Acer in February 2022.

The company design for Jcard 2. is characterised by listing rates for experienced IP and 5% of transaction revenues as brokerage cost, Teng observed. Listing costs vary, relying on IP situations, Teng indicated.
Aside from the Taiwan sector, Jcard 2. will be promoted in Southeast Asia, China, Japan and South Korea, Teng reported.
